I am Chad M. Mosher, Ph.D., a licensed psychologist in Arizona Initially, I studied music at Ithaca College in New York for cello performance, and later earned a graduate degree in cello performance from the University of Connecticut. Although I do not play or perform anymore, music is foundational to my work with clients, and integral to my own self-care needs. In 1999 I returned to school for a master's in counseling from Idaho State University. My doctoral training at the University of Memphis focused on gender identity, sexuality, multiculturalism, and anti-racism. Since moving to Tucson in 2004, I have worked within the LGBTQIA+ community as a community member, professional care worker, and mentor. My recent trainings focused on decolonial and anti-racist, gender affirming psychotherapy, psychodynamic, and Buddhist psychological practices.
Other aspects about me: I am a Virgo, identify as nonbinary (they/them) and femme. Musically, punk, goth, new wave, dark wave, and metal have been my focus, though I am open to learning more!
